What it does

The same work, for a tenth of the money

Priced for a business that does not have a procurement department. No per-module upsell, no annual minimum, no sales call to find out the number.

What five people usually pay

A CRM
$25 per user, per month
A support desk
$25 per user, per month
A project tracker
$10 per user, per month
Three tools, five people $3,600 a year

Starter tiers, indicative list prices, no vendor named. Most businesses are on more than three tools and not on the cheapest tier — and none of these writes an R&D claim, finds you a grant, quotes a job or drafts a business plan.

What ExaBusiness costs

One person
$120 a year
Two to five people
$230 a year
Each person after five
$5 a month
Every module, including R&D tax, grants, job management, plans and compliance
included
Everything, five people $230 a year

Extra seats are $60 a year against roughly $720 a year on the stack opposite, so the gap widens with headcount rather than closing.

$3,600 against $230 at five people. We say ten times rather than sixteen because ten is the figure that holds at any size — and on your own it is $120 against about $720, which is six times, not sixteen, because a sole trader's alternative is cheaper too. Neither figure counts the consultant you would otherwise pay to write the R&D claim or the business plan.

How it is built

One database, 225 record types

CRM, jobs, tickets, projects, evidence and claims are one schema in one MongoDB, and 138 entity types carry their tenant on the record itself. A customer entered in the CRM is the customer on the invoice and the customer in the R&D claim, because there is only one of them.

2,319 automated tests

Counted only across the test projects this application actually references. The parameterised ones expand to 893 separate cases, and ten standalone scenario runners sit alongside them. Every external service — email, SMS, Xero, Stripe, the model provider — ships with a mock that speaks the real API, including its awkward failures.

A model never bills a test

Every call to a language model goes through one interface, so tests can replay recorded answers and fail on a call nobody recorded. That is why the AI features have tests at all, rather than being the part of the system nobody dares run.

Five tools, five bills, five places the same customer is typed in

One database, one login, $230 a year for five people. The R&D claim and the grant application come out of work you already recorded, which is why they cost nothing extra.
